as i read Nahum 1:4,
i saw something intriguing.
A critique of the state of things.
The law had become paralyzed and there was no justice in the courts. The reason was because the wicked far outnumbered the righteous, so that justice had become perverted.
I thought about democracy as an observer.
The whole notion of freedom of speech. the whole notion of electing people into power.
When a nation has a group of predominantly righteous people, the system works wonderfully.
However, where wicked people outnumber the righteous, the system will be a breeding ground for perverted justice.
Which unfortunately is the case in Biden’s America.
Unfortunately for the wicked, God never lets the guilty go unpunished.
His enemies will be swept away in an overwhelming flood, he will pursue his foes into the darkness of night.
He only needs one blow to destroy His enemies.
The Lord is preparing a grave for the despicable, their destruction would be complete.
The righteous still are able to turn confidently to God to save them, and God would certainly hear them.
In spite of the gloating from the enemies, even though the righteous may fall, they would rise again. Though the righteous sit in darkness, the Lord would be their light.
The LORD would bring the righteous into the light and they would see His righteousness.
The wicked will see that the LORD is on the side of the righteous.
And the righteous will see their downfall, they will be trampled like mud in the streets.
