Truth can be covered up, but certainly not destroyed.

Truths that pertain to what is right and wrong.

Truths where a man reaps what he sows.

In the bible many of these truths are captured in commands. Where if we followed the commands of God, they would lead to life. And where we didn’t, we experienced death. A part of our soul dies where we choose rebellion over obedience.

Rebellion is a much celebrated word. But it really is simple self destruction.

The ones who obey traffic laws are far less likely to meet accidents as opposed to those who speed, or beat traffic lights.

The laws of God apply not to the roads but to life in general. Principles, where by if we decided to stray off the path of obedience, we step into a glass bridge not knowing if we jumped to the next glass tile, if it could support the weight of our disobedience.

Every new disobedience is a new gamble where our lives are ‘the’ stake.

Every new success obtained through disobedience merely breeds arrogance and confidence in our own ability.

It bolsters the delusion that one is beyond the law when the person has supposedly become ‘the law’.

So when we see people pushing some kind of agenda on others. at first the cause seems noble.

But over time, where people blindly follow this cause, thinking that the devil is the symbol for success in a new world. They lose sight that they too shall pass. Truth shall once again emerge amidst the sand it is buried under. Wrongs made right. A fearful time of reckoning for the rebellious, but a time of rejoicing for the faithful.

truths are fodder for rebellion.
